[May 5, 2003 Hong Kong] Excel Technology International (Hong Kong) Limited ("Excel Technology") is pleased to join the "SARS Combat Campaign" in support of the Hospital Authority's dedicated medical professionals and the community.

Beyond practicing necessary precautious SARS measures, the "Excellers" extend their caring spirit and salute to the front-line medical professionals through a hearty campaign. 

In response to the call for blood donation by the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service, Excel initiated a "Give Blood, Save Life" Blood Donation Open Day as part of the campaign initiatives on May 2, 2003. Excel staff and other warm hearted public donated blood to help the SARS victims at Excel's Central office. A "Caring and Blessing" card was presented to the front-line medical warriors combating SARS via the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service. 

Excel and staff together donated HK$28,000 to the Hong Kong Hospital Authority Charity Fund.
