Mr. IP Tak Chuen, Edmond (葉德銓), is a Non-executive Director of the Group. Mr. Ip has been an Executive Drector of Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited since 1993. He is also Deputy Chairman of Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings Limited, an Executive Director of CK Life Sciences Int'l., (Holdings) Inc., and a Non-Executive Director of TOM Group Limited. Mr. Ip was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Group on 21 February 2000.

Mr. CHEONG Ying Chew, Henry (張英潮), is an independent Non-executive Director of the Group. Mr. Cheong is a director of certain other listed companies in Hong Kong. He is a member of the Process Review Panel for the Securities and Futures Commission ("SFC"), a member of the Committee on Real Estate Investment Trusts of the SFC, a member of the GEM Listing Committee, Main Board Listing Committee and Derivatives Market Consultative Panel of the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited and also a member of the Corporate Advisory Council of the Hong Kong Securities Institute. Mr. Cheong holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master of Science degree in Operational Research and Management. Mr. Cheong was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Group on 30 May 2000.

Mr. CHANG Ka Mun (張家敏), is an independent Non-executive Director of the Group. Mr. Chang is a director of Li & Fung Development (China) Limited. He is also a member of the National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and a member of Transport Advisory Committee of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He was a member of the Preparatory Committee of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as well as the Basic Law Consultative Committee of the National People's Congress of the PRC. Mr. Chang was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Group on 30 May 2000.

Ms. WONG Mee Chun, JP (黃美春太平紳士), is an independent Non-executive Director of the Group. Ms. Wong has over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting and general management. She is a Justice of Peace, a member of the ICAC Complaints Committee, Administrative Appeals Board, the Solicitors' Disciplinary Tribunal and the Standing Committee on Disciplined Services Salaries and Conditions of Service. She graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London and qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with Coopers & Lybrand, London. She is also a Certified Public Accountant of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Ms. Wong was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Group on 9 August 2002.
